The artist says...
'I would describe myself as an intuitive abstract mixed media artist. I am the founder of esmeblake Creative. Based in a shared studio space at Anteros. Inspired by artists such as Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry, Salvador Dalí, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, and Wassily Kandinsky. My work is also deeply influenced by personal experiences, evolving organically in response to different life chapters.
I create expressive works using predominantly acrylic paint on a variety of mediums. Music also plays an integral role in my creative process, shaping the rhythm and energy of each piece.
At 42, I took the leap to turn my passion into a business, embracing the freedom of being artistic, with balancing life as a mother of two. My work blends abstraction, emotion, and raw expression to invite connection and introspection.'
