In October 2025 we announced that founder of The Big Issue, life peer AND one of our former studioholders, Lord John Bird MBE, had joined Anteros Arts Foundation as our first ever Patron!  

We were thrilled to host An Afternoon with Lord John Bird MBE back in November 2025 where John talked about his remarkable liife journey - from growing up homeless in the slums of Notting Hill and spending time in reform institutions, to discovering art, becoming a printer and father, and later founding The Big Issue.

Known for his humour, passion, and commitment to social justice, this was a thoroughly entertaining and inspiring talk. The event sold out very quickly. However, we are pleased to now be able to offer you the opportunity to watch the talk from start to finish for just £5. We are so grateful to John for giving up his time and also for allowing us to use all proceeds from both ticket sales and video purchases here to support Anteros' future as an arts centre (Reg. Charity 1135692)
