This hands-on Drypoint workshop introduces participants to an accessible, eco-friendly form of intaglio printmaking using recycled Tetra Pak (carton) packaging. Tetra Pak intaglio printing involves transforming recycled cartons into printing plates and exploring the unique qualities of this sustainable process.
Stephanie Cubbin is an artist, printmaker, and educator with nearly thirty years of experience in art education alongside an active creative practice in painting, printmaking, and observational drawing. For the past two years she has facilitated local Sip and Print workshops and continue to teach part time. Her teaching is rooted in experimentation, curiosity, and making, creating a supportive environment where participants can develop skills, explore materials, and build confidence in their own creative voice.
Students will be provided with images to work from, however, if participants choose to, they can bring their own images. They need to be postcard sized.
