About the event

Steve Logan is a Welsh song-poet and rock musician working on the border of folk and rock. He sings and plays guitar (electric, acoustic, and bass), keyboards and harmonica. After performing in subways, indie bands, cover bands and a long-standing tribute to Free, Steve has developed a prolific career as a solo artist, releasing six albums of original songs. Steve's latest album - Psych Ward - was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire. He has just published a book of poems, Heartlands.

A seasoned performer who loves the stage, Steve has played both rock and acoustic stages at the Cambridge Rock Festival, six years running. His songs have been featured on radio stations in the UK and the US.

He and his band, Geronimo, have become well-known for their interpretations of Neil Young. This show will consist of two sets - one acoustic, one electric - and will feature many classic and much-loved songs by Neil Young including ‘Heart of Gold’, ‘Old Man’, ‘Out on the Weekend’, ’Cinnamon Girl’, ‘Ohio’, ‘Cortez’ and ‘Rocking in the Free World’. Lovers of Neil Young can expect a treat.

"A voice he can take anywhere" - Sue Marchant, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
