Join us for a Springtime lino printing workshop where arts educator and printmaker, Olivia, will guide you through the process of designing, carving and hand printing your very own series of lino prints; a perfect opportunity to create something new inspired by the season of Spring.
No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided for you, including high quality printing inks that you can mix to your desired colour. As well as taking home your own series of prints, you are welcome to take home your carved lino, should you wish to continue printmaking at home!
The session will begin with us exploring and understanding the carving process, creating different experimental marks and shapes on a sample piece of lino so that you can begin your own design with confidence. The rest of the session will be spent designing, carving and printing from…
