24th OCTOBER | 10:30-1:30PM
A step-by-step class for beginners, inspired by traditional methods of sign-writing, such as the dazzling folk art of fairground and circus sign-writing. Participants are supported to design and paint a beautiful bespoke letter -perfect as a gift and/or for your own pleasure.
This workshop is led by Dot Howard: a Norwich-based artist with a background in fine art and performance, and an intriguing arts practice
including text-art and therapeutic/hospital clowning. She has 25 years of experience in participatory arts and community arts facilitation, as well as a CV of public artworks including showing artwork at The Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Royal Opera House, and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
There's no experience needed: Dot provides plenty of inspiration and support.
