A step-by-step class for beginners, inspired by traditional methods of sign-writing, such as the dazzling folk art of fairground and circus sign-writing. Participants are supported to design and paint a beautiful bespoke letter -perfect as a gift and/or for your own pleasure.
Dot Howard is a Norwich-based artist with a background in Fine Art and Performance. She has 25 years of experience in participatory arts and community arts facilitation, as well as a CV of public artworks including showing artwork at The Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Royal Opera House, and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
Dot has a ‘Level 3 Award in Education and Training’ (2016) and is an Associate Artist at the Sainsbury Centre of Visual Arts in Norwich. She co-runs Eyebrow Arts: creative projects in Norfolk. She is also a qualified Clown Doctor for Suffolk Artlink’s ‘Clown Round’, bringing…
