TUTOR: KATE HICKIN
No experience is needed, this is a highly beginner friendly workshop suitable for all ages - adults, teenagers and crafty young people. All materials are provided and you will have a huge range of wools, blends, silks, bamboo, locks and vegan fibres to choose from.
In this workshop you will be guided step by step to design your pumpkin then use needle felting tools and techniques to build your shape then ‘paint it’ with coloured fibres to bring it to life.
You can also keep it simple and enjoy blending fibres to make a beautifully coloured pumpkin, experienced felters (and ambitious beginners!) may want to go further and sculpt a face or add more detail.
