This course will guide students in creating a vibrant Norwich city landscape in textiles, across two sessions. It is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience in wool felting. Students will learn how to use a range of natural and synthetic fibres to create textile art using a range of techniques: wet felting, nuno felting, and needle felting. Students will learn how to create blunt edges in fibre, useful when depicting buildings. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring in some fibre or a piece of fabric if you are keen to explore ways to incorporate it.
This course requires some level of upper body physical strength.
