On this 2-day, 4-hour course (one 2-hour session each week for two consecutive Saturdays), mosaic artist, Fehmi, will guide participants in creating their own mosaic while introducing a range of mosaic techniques that he uses in many of his own works.
In this hands-on mosaic class, participants will create their own design based on examples that the tutor will provide. They will be able to choose from a selection of mosaic materials allowing them to experiment with different textures and colours while developing their piece. The work is kept simple, so there is little cutting involved. However, if anyone finds cutting materials difficult, Fehmi will be on hand to help and guide students through the process.
All the necessary equipment for the class, including tools and safety gear such as gloves and goggles will be provided so participants only need…
