About the event
SUNDAY 21ST JUNE | 10.30-1PM
Celebrate the fearless spirit of Fauvism, where colour reigns supreme. Inspired by Matisse, Braque, and Derain, this workshop explores the movement’s radical use of flat patterns and expressive brushwork—techniques that paved the way for Cubism and influenced artists like Van Gogh. After examining the ideologies and artworks that shocked the art world, you’ll create your own Fauvist-inspired piece bursting with energy and emotion. All abilities welcome.
