About the event
TUESDAY 2ND JUNE | 10.30-1.30PM
Learn how to create your own linocut prints in this friendly, beginner-focused workshop led by Haychley Webb of Stellabox Designs. Created especially to celebrate the Folklore Festival, this session invites you to design a print inspired by folklore themes.
You’ll be guided step by step through the process of designing, carving, and printing your own lino block (just slightly smaller than A5). The workshop is hands-on and fully supported, with clear demonstrations throughout, making it ideal for complete beginners.
It’s helpful to come with a few ideas in mind so you can focus on developing your design during the session, but don’t worry if you’re unsure—Haychley will provide example designs, books for inspiration, and tracing options. You’re also welcome to bring along A5 printouts or sketches to work from.
During the workshop, you’ll print your design using black ink on a variety of papers, including…
