THURSDAY 9 OCTOBER | 10:30-2.30 | One-day Workshop (Please note Marianne is running two, one-day embroidery workshops. They are identical in content - the other takes place 12 October)
Join textile artist Marianne Cornish for our new embroidery workshop. This one-day class will guide students in creating an embroidery sampler on a cotton backing on a wooden hoop. Students will learn a range of embroidery stitches using cotton thread and silk ribbon, to create a variety of textures and shapes. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some embroidery experience.
Note: Students who have completed Marianne's felting course the previous week can bring their textile art and add embroidery to their work. Students who have booked the felting course can book the embroidery class with a discount. Please email marketing@anterosfoundation.com for your discount code.
