INDIVIDUAL SESSION | THURS 23 JULY | 10.30AM TO 1PM
Explore techniques to quickly capture the world around you through on location illustration. Using simple materials you will learn how to work with perspective, scale, capture movement and people along with introducing vibrant colour. Drawing techniques will be explored using pens, pencils and watercolours along with different drawing surfaces.
The first part of each session will be based at Anteros and the second half will be on the streets drawing in front of your subject. Historical reportage illustration references will be discussed with examples shown.
The course can work for complete beginners or students/adults wanting to sharpen their eye to draw and paint quicker and more confidently. Owen wants to share his enthusiasm for the subject and the joy and excitement of capturing various subjects on paper from cityscapes, street scenes, buildings, events, people and portraits.
