Discover Linocut Printing Course

5 THURSDAY MORNINGS | 2ND-30TH APRIL | 10:30-1PM

Join printmaker Amy Cartwright at Anteros this Spring for a 5 week course of linocut printing. You will learn how to use linocut tools, discover mark making techniques, design your own linoprint artwork trying both the positive and negative methods. You will learn how to ink up, register and print your lino blocks, and finally, how to introduce coloured layers to your prints.

Each session will be jam-packed with creative enthusiasm, in a friendly supportive environment. Amy supplies professional high quality printing inks and specialist printing paper, so you can create your own edition of prints. The course is suitable for beginners, or those who have already dabbled with linocut printing.
