Get creative in this hands-on, expressive collage workshop where you’ll cut out images from magazines, papers, and text, then combine them with pen, paint, and texture to create a layered artwork you can take home on the day. Suitable for all skill levels, this relaxed session is perfect whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your artistic toolkit. We’ll explore key collage materials and techniques, taking inspiration from artists including Joseph Cornell, Robert Rauschenberg, Henri Matisse and Barbara Kruger.

In a friendly and inclusive environment, you’ll develop ideas around composition, colour, and image selection and add detail through layering and mixed media. The session ends with a casual show and tell, along with tips on different ways to display your work.
