BouZaTina are a creative acoustic folk duo from Bishop’s Castle in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills. They perform traditional and contemporary folk songs interspersed with lively Irish tunes played with passion and virtuosity.
BouZaTina are Val Marciandi and Keith Whiddon, showcasing Val’s beautiful voice accompanied by Keith’s unique bouzouki style. The name BouZaTina is a combination of their main instruments: Bouzouki and Concertina. Val and Keith have played music together since 1989 when they met in Sussex. Now based in Bishop's Castle in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, they have formed the duo BouZaTina to combine their love of iconic ballads from the 70s and 80s with their passion for traditional Irish music.
