'I enjoy combining black and white detail with kinetic colours to create images that are both solid and ephemeral. I enjoy exploring why certain images lodge themselves into our consciousness (b & w) and the waves they make as they engage with — and sink into — our subconscious (colour).

 

By combining the two, I learn about myself and my connection to our shared humanity. More recently, I’ve begun to separate the two. This has allowed me to explore each component in more depth as I work towards reuniting them in a new style.'
