In this introductory oil painting course, taught over 5 sessions, Sophia Shuvalova teaches painting the human form from life.

Sophia Shuvalova is an artist, curator and art teacher. Having graduated in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts she refined her multidisciplinary Fine Art practice and regularly exhibits in Norwich, Cambridge and London. Her repertoire includes both traditional and experimental approaches. Currently Sophia is exploring a range of media, from oil on canvas and silverpoint drawing to installation and textile work. She holds a studio at Outpost Studios, Norwich. Having worked as a curator for established organisations such as Norfolk County Council Sophia founded Em-Re-Un; a contemporary arts organisation specialising in production of multidisciplinary exhibitions and events. She has several years of teaching experience working both with children and adult learners.
