This course is designed to build on your existing experience with watercolour and provide you with some tools and ideas to help you continue growing as a watercolour painter.
In the first session, you will briefly revisit the basics of watercolour technique; subsequent sessions will then introduce you to the joys of stretching paper, colour theory and how to apply this to your own paintings, and the tricky subject of colour mixing.
Throughout the course Liz Monahan’s instructional teaching will be carefully combined with mini projects and exercises that will help you put theory into practice. Liz will also provide step-by-step group demonstrations as well as individual support, all of which to encourage you to paint in watercolour with increasing skill and confidence.
Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own materials to use if you prefer.
