Watercolour for Beginners

This five-week Introduction to Watercolour course aims to guide you through the basic principles and techniques of watercolour painting.

You’ll begin by learning about materials and then move onto a series of exercises which will teach you the basic watercolour techniques, from laying down a wash to building up layers of colour. By the end of each lesson you will take home at least one painting that demonstrates a particular watercolour technique. 

With a relaxed and friendly approach, tutor Liz Monahan will demonstrate for you and support you through the practical exercises, especially designed to help you develop your skills and confidence in this exciting and beautiful medium.
