Watercolour for beginners

This course will guide you through the basic principles and techniques of watercolour painting. You’ll begin by learning about materials and then move on to a series of exercises teaching you the basic watercolour techniques, from laying down a wash to building up layers of colour. At the end of each lesson, you'll take home at least one painting that demonstrates a particular watercolour technique. With a relaxed and friendly approach, Liz Monahan will demonstrate and support you through practical exercises specially designed to help you develop your skills and confidence in this exciting and beautiful medium.

Tickets for these workshops cover all 5 sessions and are all 11:00-13:00.
