Drawing on Location : Using Neocolors

Saturday 20th July
10am - 5pm

A day long drawing class with tutor Bob Larking using neocolor 2s. This course aims to provide students with a working knowledge of water soluble wax-pastels. Drawing on location, either in the cathedral or on Elm Hill, is also an important aspect of this day-long class.

Bob will demonstrate the material and discuss methods for using neocolours in the classroom. Students will complete a still life composition in the morning and have a chance to experiment with the medium, before setting out to draw on location in the afternoon.

Neocolour 2 pastels are a versatile and portable medium which can be used for drawing, painting and mixed-media. They are ideal for adding colour on location and using in sketchbooks. They produce bright vibrant colours.

Bob will give individualised feedback throughout the day and the cost of this class includes a box of 15 Neocolour 2s to take home.
