Drawing a Likeness is a course on portaiture drawing with emphasis on construction, shadow, tone and proportion.
Students will gain an understanding of how to approach portraiture in achievable steps through looking at anatomy, form, tone, composition and mark-making. There will be practical learning in how to use art materials such as stretching paper and using a knife to sharpen tools.
Over the three sessions you will walk away with two finished portraits and a greater understanding of the process of portraiture drawing and the materials involved.g
