Join art tutor Rebecca Mills in this creative, fun online workshop where we will be creating an ink collage.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wishes to explore new ways of image making, explore inks and or collage. You will learn how to create different types of lines, marks and textures with ink. We explore different tools for mark-making as well as line and wet on wet techniques to create papers for collage. Once the papers are dry we will put them together to create a simple yet effective collage based on a botanical theme. This workshop is suitable for the complete beginner or those who wish to enliven their drawing/image making with this exciting way of working.
Mixed media paper/Smooth watercolour paper
Thin drawing paper/newsprint
Inks - any type - indian/drawing ink recommended (1-3 colours)
ScissorsGlue - PVA or stick glue

Tutor: Rebecca Mills
Rebecca Mills is an experienced art tutor and qualified teacher who has taught a range of creative arts subjects to all ages, such as drawing, painting, photography and digital art. Rebecca has a BA (Hons) Graphic Design/Illustration and has worked as both a Graphic Designer and freelance Illustrator, creating artworks for greeting cards, giftware and magazines. Her work combines both hand drawn and digital methods and incorporates a range of mediums including collage, ink, pen, pencil and paint.
