Come and explore Anteros Arts Foundation as part of Norfolk Makers Festival. Meet our studio holders and Diploma students, be inspired to create an artwork to take home, learn a new art skill with one of our experienced artist educators and enjoy a tea and cake from The Merchant's House cafe.
Visit the working studios of some of Norwich's finest artists, including the shared studio space of our talented Diploma students. A wonderful opportunity to see how artists approach their work and discuss their varied practices.

OPEN DAY WORKSHOP: Approaches to Colour with Martin Laurance
Saturday 22nd February, 11am - 1pm
This is a special Open Day workshop with one of our experienced course tutors, Martin Laurence.
This 2 hour workshop is a practical introduction to a palette of essential colours for painters in any medium, enabling you to create a large variety of colour combinations.
Using acrylics you will mix colours to create primaries and secondary colours and understand how they can be used most effectively.
By using 'hands on' experimentation you can begin to see the possibilities of various colour schemes and ideas that you can take away to make colour in your painting richer and more effective.
All materials provided.
Suitable for beginners and anyone who feels the need to make colour in their painting more effective.

OPEN DAY WORKSHOP: Working With Tone with Katarzyna Coleman
Saturday 22nd February, 2pm - 4pm
This is a special Open Day workshop with one of our experienced course tutors, Katarzyna Coleman.
In this 2 hour workshop, you will explore the principles of using tone to create contrast, give the illusion of form, add a dramatic or tranquil atmosphere, create a sense of depth and distance or introduce a rhythm or pattern within a composition.
All materials provided. Suitable for beginners and anyone who would like know more about using tone to improve their painting.
