VENUE HIRE ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: £10 an hour

Hours: 16 hours a week 

Contract: Fixed Term, 9 months 

Closing Date: Tuesday 25 October 11:59pm

Interview date: Wednesday 2 November 

The Venue Hire Administrator is responsible for managing the hire of our rooms for weddings, music events, pop up shops, meetings etc

 

Through excellent organisational skills, they manage all enquiries, booking forms, risk assessments and invoices. 

Also a people person with an eye for customer service, the Venue Hire Administrator builds relationships with our audiences and ensures each hire meets the requirements of the booker, keeping the whole team updated on the venue hire diary and room set up requirements.

The Venue Hire Administrator also supports the opening of the building to the public by working on reception and acting as Duty Officer as needed.

The successful candidate with be required to work flexible hours equivalent to 2 days a week, including Saturdays and evenings on a rota basis and depending on events booked in.  This is generally a Wednesday and Friday but is negotiable. You will be working at Anteros.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to start in mid December.

Applicants will be required to provide two referees. References shall be taken up for the successful candidate prior to a contract being signed. References will be asked to complete a standardised reference form. 

Anteros Arts Foundation will need to request a standard DBS check for successful applicants a propos the charity's financial controls policy. In the delivery of our outreach programmes we reserve the right to request an enhanced DBS check. 

Applications will be scored against the Job Description and Person Specification and the selection board will be looking for specific examples to support each statement. Top scoring candidates will be called for interview.
