About the event

Learn the steps of linocut printmaking on this workshop, themed to celebrate the varied landscapes across Norwich and Norfolk.

You'll design, carve and print your own linocut and leave the class with an understanding of the processes involved in this form of printmaking.

You'll learn step-by-step how to create a single colour A5 linocut print, to be printed on a variety of paper choices using soft-cut lino. As a group, you'll be guided through the tools and techniques involved and there will be opportunities to ask questions and discuss processes.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have tried linocut before. All tools and materials are provided in this hands-on workshop with demonstrations throughout the class.

Your tutor will be Haychley Webb who prints under the name Stellabox Designs. Haychley is a semi-professional printmaker who has been teaching in Norfolk for several years and regularly participates in events and exhibitions across the county.
