Support Anteros and be in with a chance of winning an amazing prize!
THE COMPETITION
Create an artwork inspired by a poem using any medium and any format. Click here for some ideas.
You will be asked to briefly describe why you have selected the particular poem and how it has inspired your artwork when you submit your entry.
Take a photo of your artwork and send it to us using the appropriate entry form (see below).
You can only submit one photo so please make sure it captures your artwork as best it can; think about lighting, position, angle etc.
We will be displaying entries via our social media channels and on our website.
Our competition is open to everyone. However there are two categories; Aspiring Artists and Professional Artists. Please choose the category that best describes you and your work.
THE RULES
Closing date: 30th June 2020.
Any entries received after this date will not be considered. Winners will be selected by the Anteros gallery team.
We can only accept photos of entries uploaded using the relevant form. Entries sent via email will not be considered and please do not send us any physical artworks in the post.
You can submit more than one work but you will need to fill out an entry form and pay the relevant entry fee for each work.
Please note prize winners will need to be willing and able to attend our building located in Central Norwich.

Professional artists
Win a two week exhibition!
The winner will get the opportunity to exhibit their work in the Anteros Front Room gallery space (with large street-facing window).
The exhibition must take place in 2021 with all details including dates to be decided by mutual agreement between the winner and the Anteros gallery team (see additional notes below).
One prize available with the winner chosen by the Anteros gallery team. £10 per entry.
Please be aware that you will need to have sufficient artwork of a high enough standard to hold your exhibition next year. The competition winner will be required to complete both a gallery application form and contract before the exhibition takes place (links to examples of both documents can be found within the Competition Terms & Conditions). The winner will also need to work with the Anteros gallery team to produce their exhibition and associated marketing materials.
